The Host Association, Merritt Minor Softball, in partnership with Delta Inferno 2011A welcome you to the Inagural Merritt Mountain Inferno Fest!

We are looking forward to bringing a competitve girls' youth softball tournament and Wheelhouse softball clinic to the community of Merritt to inspire the local youth and connect teams from across B.C. and Alberta in a central community.

The MMIFI Story
What is this tournament all about?
The Merritt Mountain Inferno Fest has been a dream in the making for several years. We are so excited to launch the Inagural 2024 Tournament and bring you along for the ride!
Tournament Directors, Kathryn Barczi (Delta Inferno 2011) and Alana Pooley (Merritt Minor) met while Alana coached Kathryn's daughter in the Delta Fastpitch Assoc. Since then, Alana moved to Merritt and became involved with Merritt Minor softball.
​
Alana and Kathryn endeavored to create an extra special tournament to enable teams from across B.C and Alberta to 'meet in the middle', inspire the local Merritt youth with high-level ball, and have a great time playing some fresh competition in a new location.
​
This special weekend will include a pro-bono softball clinic run by Wheelhouse Softball Co for the local youth, swag, community youth involvement, raffles, and a whole lot of fun!
